用 Agent-based 方法研究宏观经济学的困难与前景

用 Agent-based 的方法来研究宏观经济学（或更一般意义上的集体经济行为）似乎是符合由微观加总到宏观的经济学直觉的；计算经济学（computational economics）似乎也可能是符合历史发展潮流的。但是这个领域的 top journal 发表记录似乎意外地少。

1️⃣ 当前 Agent-based 的宏观研究现状#

计算经济学 vs Agent-based Model#

首先，计算经济学（computational economics）与Agent-based Model是两个层面的问题：

计算经济学是一种区别于规范经济学的研究范式，即便通过结构线性模型也可以称为计算经济学
ABM是一种模型范式
两者可以结合（ACE，Agent-based Computational Economics），但不可以混为一谈

CGE vs ACE#

类型	全称	特点	发展历史
CGE	可计算一般均衡（AGE）	以瓦尔拉斯一般均衡理论为基础，由 Richard Stone 和 Herbert Simon 倡导	几十年历史，研究范式成熟，中文期刊上百篇以上论文
ACE	Agent-based Computational Economics	较新的研究范式	顶刊不多，但 ABS 三星很多，实现难度较大

理论框架结合#

个人观点，AB 如果不依托于经济理论也只能是自娱自乐。实际上，不论 DSGE 还是新古典其他模型，最新进展中都可以看到 ABM 的身影。
